‘iviva Smart BIM’ is a cloud service that allows users to use BIM (Building Information Modelling) for day to day operations of the building.
This particular app connects with the iviva cloud service and allows users to check availability of facilities and book them.
To register the app, user should provide AccountURL and ApiKey under Settings page. User could log into the iviva ‘SBIM Facility Booking’ web app and scan the QR code displayed on the iviva web app to extract registration information.
App displays available facilities for a given date/time and duration within a selected building. Partial availability is indicated where facility is not available for the full duration selected. Facilities can also be viewed on the floor plan map where pin colour will represent the availability.
It is important to note that all date & time shown in the app are based on the time zone where the building is located regardless of the current time zone of the phone.
If default settings are available, user may also perform ‘quick book’ shortcut action from the facility list by ‘swiping’ a facility row to the left.
Bookings for a selected date can be viewed on Bookings List page. Details of the booking can be viewed, and administrators and booking owners are able to edit, reschedule and close them.
‘Add to Calendar’ action on Booking Details page allows user to create an event on the calendar on the phone with the details of the booking. After adding it to the phone calendar, user will be able to add invitees or share it with others.
